The front terrace is characterised by a typically Victorian façade of columns, cornice work and decorative motifs. Handsome soldiering in the brickwork around the second-floor windows speak to the original quality of the home. The architectural wrought iron adds to the allure of the exterior.
Main Floor:
Open the door to a wonderful entrance hall and foyer that invites you into the main floor rooms. The rooms are accented with a fireplace, high ceilings and full-height windows framed by original trim. Wood floors and high baseboards all add to the feeling of grandness.
The entrance Foyer and main living room have an exquisite original staircase as a backdrop. room. French doors open to the formal sized dining room.
At the rear is the kitchen that was completely redone. Custom built wood "furniture" style cabinetry offering an abundance of storage space while the Prep Island carries through the design all accented by gleaming marble countertops. A large eating bay with built in banquet seating (storage underneath) is nestled in a large bay window that overlooks the garden and custom playhouse. This is a kitchen for entertaining and family enjoyment. Design and workmanship were carefully considered by the owners to create a sense of richness and warmth. The saying "hard to get people out of the kitchen" rings true in this space.
There is a convenient main floor powder room and a rear porch ideal for sports equipment and garden supplies.
Second Floor
The second floor provides a large landing that houses a walk-in closet. Turned open hallway accesses the two sun filled bedrooms.
A recently redone bathroom lies at the rear of the hallway with marble tile flooring - a large vanity with double sinks and a large tub/shower.
The rear bedroom that is presently used as the master opens to a large sunny room that is ideal as an office or as a sitting room/den.
Third Floor:
Accented with high ceilings and new hardwood flooring. Large windows frame the far-reaching views across the treetops and rooftops. The main room is oversized while the rear office space has been assembled with a work / office area as well as space for sitting. Door to the flat roof is ideal for that terrace in the future.
